Cloud Engineering Specialisation

Welcome to our Beginner Cloud Engineering training program! This program is designed for professionals and students looking to gain the foundation knowledge needed to excel in the field of cloud engineering. Our program is tailored to meet the needs of beginners, and will cover a wide range of topics, including cloud computing concepts, with beginner hands-on workshops using AWS.

Curriculum:

Our curriculum is built on the latest industry standards and best practices in cloud engineering. It will cover the following topics:

• Programming & Logic (Working with Python)
• Cloud computing concepts: Understanding the basics of cloud computing, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS)
• AWS: Understanding the concepts and best practices of working with Amazon Web Services, including EC2, S3, and RDS

Program Format:

The program is offered online and will run for 12 weeks. Classes are held once per week, with two classes per day (i.e by 12 PM & 8pm West African Time), to accommodate working professionals.

Entry Requirements:

This program is designed for professionals and students with or without prior experience in backend engineering or any related field. All you need to be successful during the training is a working laptop and good internet connection as the training would be highly collaborative, live & completely remote.

Outcomes:

Upon completion of this program, participants will have gained a solid foundation in cloud computing concepts and the basics of working with AWS. They will be able to launch and manage virtual machines, store and retrieve data, and understand the concepts of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. They will also have a portfolio of completed projects to showcase their skills to potential employers.
