I wanted to take a moment to share some of the most important design topics that I think newbie UI Designers should learn.

These topics are:

• Padding
• Margin
• Grid
• Asset Naming & Management
• Developer Hand-off
• Alignment

I think it's important to have a solid understanding of these concepts & topics if you want to be a successful UI designer.

I've included some additional explanations of these principles below.
